The Managing Partner of MdF Family Partners, Javier holds a degree in Business Law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-1) and completed an Advanced Course at the Instituto de la Comunicación Social.
Javier worked at Chase Manhattan (MHT) from 1980 to 1986 where he helped create the fixed income capital markets for which he was responsible from their inception.
In 1986 he joined JP Morgan as Head of Private Fixed Income origination and distribution.
After that, he created JP Morgan’s Private Banking group for Spain and Portugal, which he headed until 2002. He was also head of the London and Northern Europe office from 1997 to 2001, where he worked with the largest European family offices. He sat on the board of JP Morgan International.
He worked as a consultant and sat on the boards of several companies from 2002 to 2004, when he created Achievers Family Office, advising family groups on their global strategy.
Javier is also a regular contributor to the Esteban Vigil – Missionaries of Mary Mediatrix Foundation.
